The Masonic Home of Georgia is a nonprofit residential child care organization located in Macon, Georgia, with a history of service stretching back more than a century. Since June 14, 1905, the Home has served over 2,100 children in need from across the State of Georgia. Set on 650 acres in Macon, often called “the Heart of Georgia,” the campus occupies an ideal, accessible location overlooking the Ocmulgee River, making it reachable for families throughout the state.
The Home is a residential child care facility that provides basic care for children whose needs cannot be met in their own homes, or for whom a structured group setting is a positive alternative. Its guiding principles are love, security, personal growth, and achievement. The organization’s primary goal is to prepare children and families for reunification whenever possible. In situations where that is not the outcome, the Home works to prepare young people for independent living by offering a stable, structured environment where they can learn responsibility and build the skills to function confidently in society.

By providing a foundation that supports each young person spiritually, physically, and mentally, the organization aims to give children the tools to navigate life, find direction, and achieve their goals.
