Background

Founded in October 2012, Dovetail is located in the heart of a re-emerging downtown district, above the longtime Macon favorite The Rookery. Its dishes are crafted by Executive Chef Doug Sanneman and inspired by seasonal availability and traditional Southern fare, served in a dining room that speaks to the strong agrarian history of Georgia. Dovetail has been featured in Southern Living Magazine, Atlanta Eats, and Macon Magazine, and is part of the Moonhanger Group’s lineup of Macon destinations alongside The Rookery, H&H Soulfood, Natalia’s, and Grant’s Lounge.
